Salis patents I_Deck, the innovative wood floor for outdoor

Salis has developed an innovative exterior product overcoming a difficult challenge: often exterior floorings built with this kind of strip present stability problems, for example embarking and swelling, caused by widening and shrinkage of planking. Depending on climatic conditions, seasons exchange, humidity, corrosion caused by salt, with the passing of time, may cause alteration of treading surface.

Another drawback highlighted in this kind of strip may ensue from the fixing on the ground, that is usually a complex and laborious process due to the numerous anchor bolts.
Finally, in case of damage of one or more strips, the replacement is difficult and complicated, and it normally requires the replacement of the entire flooring.
I-Deck, further to a test of 2 years, during which it has been subjected to all kinds of climatic conditions, has demonstrated to succeed in eliminate the drawbacks highlighted before, so that it's able to ensure the structure stability, especially related to dimensions; Salis has developed a strip that can be fixed on the ground through less anchors, so that it simplifies the assembling process on ground; moreover the strip permits a quick and cheap replacement of planking, positioned above an aluminium foil support, which is a particularly light metal endowed with a very good resistance to oxidation and very good mechanical features.
