All treatments oiling and painting of Vintage and 900 Series are carried in pressurized environments such as to comply with the regulations on emissions into the atmosphere. The oiled or painted products are dried by UV lamps to ensure a release of harmful substances to be zero.

With regard to the range DiValore, the products are handmade in pressurized cabins and are used oils, natural waxes and water-based paints eco-friendly, that highlight the aesthetic qualities of the wood. Water-based coatings used by Salis respect the limits prescribed by the regulations EN71 / 3 concerning the safety of toys and they are therefore suitable for use as a coating for environments intended for use in children.
The products of the series 900 and Vintage, subjected to UV drying, have a surface more resistant to wear, while the range DiValore, hand-finished with oils, natural waxes and water-based paint, needs periodic maintenance.
